My second blog of the day... Tenten Shares...
Being the movie buff that I am, this extended weekend had me in a whirlwind of movie viewing, courtesy of my new DVDs from Mikey. One particular film that I simply adored was "A Little Princess". Based on a book by Frances Hodgson Burnett, and made into a movie directed by Harry Potter 3 director, Alfonso Cuaron, this 1995 masterpiece, had me laughing and crying (haha, big surprise!). It revisits the magic of every girl's childhood. I've always been fascinated by children, the wonderment in their eyes and their avid belief of the unknown and the all-good. Sometimes I wonder if I've outgrown that part of me. Perhaps I haven't completely. I love kids and I feel that the childhood I had left behind decades ago, is continued through them. Most of my friends know I want to be a mom, even without the Dad part. Hehe.
Hmm... makes me wonder if I should also get "The Secret Garden" on DVD as well...
