Welcome back to blogger Schmenten!

New developments ...
- Am now a certified Badminton addict (minus the high-priced titanium racket)
- Am now a certified Friendster addict (with 239 friends and counting)
- Am now a frustrated COBOL programmer (with a 0.5 COBOL program in my list of credentials)
- Am now a two-cups-of-coffee girl (with 3 lumps of sugar, please!)

New thoughts ...
I was really looking forward to having my nieces sleep over today. I had the entire weekend planned. Movie marathon Thursday evening,Trick or Treating in Alabang, Friday. I even filed for vacation tomorrow. But their mommy told me they'd really much rather sleep over at their other kid-Tita's house. I've been telling myself that it's nothing personal. Kids will be kids. Of course they'd want to hang out with other kids than grown-ups. Or maybe I'm a little upset because I'd been looking forward to this weekend for the past two weeks or so. I'm not a huge fan of 'Change Of Plans'. Or maybe, deep down, it's the realization that my kids are growing up... Just think... I'm upset over this... What more when I become an official Mom myself!

Gaaad! It sure has been a while...

Been busy with work. I've been trying to haul ass out of bed early so I can leave early. Who has been a mainstay at my calendar of events?!?! Mr. Badminton! And I have the sore muscles to prove it!

No major musings today... But I do remember thinking about this new analogy about my Metaphoric Love Parking Lot... The longer you stay in the parking lot, the more you pay when you leave. Hehe.

Mental note to self: I have got to update my gratitude journal soon. Four days have past and I have missed entries...

Maybe I should write them here first...

Allan confirms that the pimple on my cheek is non-existent. The mirror and my extra-critical eye contests, I have a shadow of a pimple... Hehe. My banal thoughts this Thursday evening... For the lack of a Badminton day...

Tis has been a work-filled day! I can't believe how much work I got done today!

I met with Mel Cortez, the photographer of Decisive Moments today. After my hour-long meeting with him, the urge to pursue this wedding-business career within me was amplified somehow. As I was taking a shower a few minutes ago, I suddenly thought of advertising ideas... I could do mass mailing! Or have my calling card finally printed.
I guess the thing is... how badly I want to become a coordinator varies from time to time. But I do want to become one! I do! I do! I do! Hehe. For now, that's the only question I can honestly answer "I Do" to. =)

I think I have a pimple on my chin... ouch!
Nuninuninuninu.... An extended day at home... I just enjoy curling up in bed, with the aircon blaring, the sun partially shining, and everyone else silently snoring in their sleep... It's pretty cool how hypnotic the bed can be, and how tempting extended slumber is. One of the true joys of the weekend - loooong sleep!

Coup! Coup!

Coup is over, thank God!!
Ugh Ugh!
The evils of email... Tis evil especially when you hear from someone you don't exactly wanna hear from. As weird as it may sound, sometimes, one's passion, though once qualified as non-work precisely because of the passion factor, requires a certain level of gratification or compensation. Tis during this time when one realizes the "work" factor of the whichever he or she considers "passion". It will involve leg work, lots of effort, and TIME!
Ugh Ugh some more... All I can do is gripe and gripe...

Oh my! Blogger abstinence for two weeks?!?! What have I been up to??!?!

B-A-D-M-I-N-T-O-N!!

I love the sport, despite the fact that my finger seems to hate it! Funny how we played for two hours last night, without scoring anything! We didn't know the rules, hence, we played a game of score-less fun! I hope to get better. I have dreams of joining the Pros! I've never been the sporty type, but Badminton seems to love me! Hehehe!

More postings later! Just posted this to break the Blogger silencio.
